Eat your ice cream! Nothing's more fun than a party in your tummy! XP Besides, he's an ass.
But would you have tried to get fit if he did not dump you?
Just because he saw you with a cart full of ice cream doesn't mean that you don't look physically different than when he last saw you, and as you make it sound, a lot better. So no worries! Congratulations, because you seem a lot better off without him =) Hm... #21/neburus may have a point, though. Sometimes, as sad as it is, the most hurtful comments can act as a catalyst for some people to make big changes.
Wow what a dbag. He didn't have to break up to you. When my boy friend got fat I said "hey let's go running together" and started cooking him healthy meals, I didn't dump his ass. Jeez.
This reminds me of a Friends episode. Sort of. But hey, whatever motivates you. Enjoy your party and you go eat that ice cream.
Yea :D when they all find out that Monica lost weight because Chandler called her fat...I love that episode.
what does op mean?
If you gained those 68 pounds while you were with him in the first place, YDI. If a person lets themselves go and you're not even in a committed relationship, they have a right to end it if they're not attracted to you anymore. Who knows, if he hadn't done it, maybe you would never have been inspired to drop the weight again.
Exactly. Everyone rushes to the defense of people who get dumped because they put on weight, but what happens to a person's health once they enter a relationship says a lot about them as a person. Either they aren't capable of looking after themselves well enough to maintain a healthy weight, or they don't care enough about their partner to maintain a healthy weight. Either way, they shouldn't be in the relationship. Appearance matters, you don't date a person to whom feel no physical attraction. "Letting yourself go" once you enter a relationship shows an incredible amount of disrespect to your partner. Learn to look after yourself before you get into a relationship, and don't stop once you're in one.
what's in the cart shouldn't matter...it's all about the junk in the trunk
you GO girl! Good job for losing the 68 pounds! I'm proud of you!

He'll still have noticed that you're looking foxy nowadays. He's a guy. They don't miss that kinda thing. =]
Man, screw that ****** for dumping you, he should have supported you and been concerned for your health, rather than just dropping you. Great job on losing the weight though! And i'm sure he noticed it too. Have fun at your party!
