Today, I realized how bad my depression has gotten when I caught myself fantasizing about suicide while having sex with my husband. FML

Talk it out with your husband or someone else!

We all have problems. At least you know and acknowledge yours.

Why are people on here so serious? Never seen so many people get offended before I. My life. Hope things get better for ya OP

I don't think anyone is offended... However, suicide is a serious situation and OP needs help. I mean, yea the jokes are entertaining, but OP's life is on the line and we should be supporting them instead of joking about their sex life.

I don't really like that people are making jokes about this... When you're suicidal you think about it constantly, no matter the situation. It's a scary thing, and something people shouldn't take lightly. OP, I hope you find the courage to tell someone you trust. It will help you greatly to have support. I would also suggest seeing a counselor, therapist, or calling/emailing a free helpline. Seeking some form of help is important, it helped me a ton when I was in the same position because experiencing that alone is terrible. Good luck, sending lots of hope your way!

I would seek some help. There's always something to live for.

FYI: Seminal fluid contains dopamine, which can elevate your mood. Seriously, take control of something. Start small, maybe put 20 min between you and the rest of your day, where you do absolutely nothing except listen to the band of your choosing. Build on that. Fill your time with activities you lead, and minimize the ones you don't (especially avoid obsessing about missed opportunities). Give yourself the exact same schedule every day.

I have bipolar disorder. Before I was diagnosed and treated, life was hell, and the depression part was something I never want to experience again. Getting help was the best thing that ever happened. See your G.P and get a referral to a psychiatrist. Find a therapist that you are comfortable with and talk. Try talking first before meds. But seek help. It can make a world of difference. Depression can take over your whole life and hurt inside and out, and seem like it will never end. And it can be hard work to get out of it, but it is worth it! Advocate for yourself! It is hard in a low point in your life, but if you have people who love you and support you, get them to help you too. But you have to get the help and want to see that you can and will get better. Even when it feels horrible now, know that every small step that you take towards your goal for mental health, gets you closer and closer to that. You can be strong and you are amazing. Take those first steps for help OP and good luck.

Good step u r admitting it. maybe you need to talk to someone.
