I know it's not true, but I always imagine an office full of evil Facebook employees picking the most offensive advertisments possible for every user.

My ads sometimes are for dating websites - yet my profile shows I'm married. Don't take it too personally. Sometimes it's an age group thing, or based on other generic data.
