Today, I received the newspaper from my hometown. My ex-husband's wedding announcement and picture were on the front page. His new wife has the same first name as me. All my Facebook friends from high school commented on how much weight I've lost and how good I look in my wedding photo. FML

Today, while shopping, I bumped into a guy I knew in high school. He went on about he heard I'd got married, looked like I'd had a baby, and that, "she looks just like you!" The kid was my niece, and my husband broke up with me 2 years ago. Thanks for bringing that up. FML

Today, I saw my friend's ex and noticed she had gained a ton of weight since he dated her and had been dating someone else. It reminded me of my friend, so I messaged him and made a joke about her being unrecognizable. He informed me that they started seeing each other again last week. FML

Today, I married the love of my life, which was meant to stay secret until we can afford a ceremony. I opened Facebook to see that my hubby’s mom made a post about it, called me her new daughter-in-law, and tagged me. All 3 things we specifically asked her not to do. FML

what the hell is wrong with people? First of all they assume the woman's job is to be thin and make men sandwiches? also, just because the new wife was thinner than the op doesn't necessarily mean the op is fat. Even if she were, that doesn't make her responsible for the divorce. op, that really sucks. Things will get better though. Just hang in there.

It is her fault for being such a porker. She got comfortable and let herself go and the husband lost interest. Maybe she should've stopped stuffing twinkies down her throat and hit the treadmill every once and a while.

she was married to him, so at some point she had her exs last name too along withher first name so they are identical thats why they think its her on fb ur story is confusing and stupid!
