Today, I refused to ride with a friend on a motorcycle because it is unsafe and went to take the bus. As I got off the bus, I got hit by a speeding motorcycle and ended up in hospital. FML

Today, I was riding an electric scooter on my way to work when a car sped out of a driveway and hit me. Not only did I end up in hospital, but I missed my job on the second day back. FML

Today, I rushed to catch my bus and arrived as it pulled up, but one of the tires threw a rock at my head and knocked me out. I missed my bus and the final that I am not allowed to retake. FML

Today, I was taking the bus home from work. I went to pull the cord to request a stop when the driver slammed on the breaks to avoid running a red light, causing me to get thrown out of my seat and slide down the aisle and hit my head on a pole by the front of the bus. FML

Today, I got on the bus. Before I could make it to a free seat, the driver hit the gas, and the sudden movement caused me to stumble and accidentally grab onto another passenger for support. She didn't appreciate this, accused me of molesting her, and got me thrown back off. FML

Today, I was riding my bike down a road I know is quite hazardous. Having almost been hit in the same spot the day before, I rode across the intersection very satisfied without having been injured. Until I crashed into the guy front of me and flipped over my handlebars. FML

Today, while I was on the bus, my foot fell asleep. When we arrived at my stop, I stood up and limped to the front of the bus. As I walked down the steps, I tripped, fell, and smashed my nose into the ground. The driver just laughed and drove away. FML

Today, I fell off my boyfriend's motorcycle. I had a few scrapes and bruises, and my boyfriend called for an ambulance as a precaution. The paramedics managed to drop me on my head. FML

That's weird... where I live the busses only let you out on the sidewalk... and motorcycles can only drive on the road.

Ridding motorcycles are safe, you just have to find a experienced driver. I'm only 14 and I ride them all the time with my dad. The only time we have been in an accident was when my dad forgot to take the steering lock off and when we were leaving are drive it fell on us. No harm done. My dad has been in countless accidents when he was younger because he was reckless. The worst was when his leg bone got crushed and they had to replace his bone with a metal rod. Karma only a bitch if you are.

Op's from the Philippines, and traffics over there is really bad. It's nothing compared here in the U.S. Cars/buses and other vehicles are like everywhere. Over there they don't really have proper stops. They let the people off in the middle of the streets.

#87's completely right. The Philippines isn't as bad as some places, but it's still pretty frickin' chaotic on the roads there. This could very easily happen. The traffic is like a hundred car pile-up that just hasn't yet decided on where it's going to happen.
