Today, I refused to ride with a friend on a motorcycle because it is unsafe and went to take the bus. As I got off the bus, I got hit by a speeding motorcycle and ended up in hospital. FML

motorcycles are safer than u think. I would rather ride on a motorcycle with my fiancé than in a car with him. give em a chance they are amazing.

Well see when ypu go to a hospital eventualy you are allowed to leave and when you do most people go home. Most likely OP went home and later posted an FML about the iorny that had happend. When posting an FML "today" is manditory

Why? Because getting hit by a car or motorcycle would certain **** up your day if not your life. It's the when that's actually questionable because all FMLs have to start with today so this could have been a day ago, a week ago, a month ago, or even years ago, we certainly don't know.

We also don't know the actual extent of the OPs injuries so when they say they "ended up in the hospital" it could have been for anything from major injuries to just a simple concussion. If it was some kind of minor injury the OP would have plenty of time to post an FML.

I've been on a motorcycle since I was about three with my mother and father and I have never once been in a wreck wrecks only happen when people get cocky your just as likely to get in a wreck in a car and besides both of parents have had motorcycles since they were 14 and never wrecked

FYL, but your assumption that motorcycles are unsafe is unwarranted. Whether or not they're safe depends on your friend's driving. A good, safe motorcycle driver is much less likely to crash than a reckless bus/car driver.

Agreed that they're unsafe. I broke my neck and snapped my femur in half on one. But you do live once, so take the risk and enjoy life.
