Today, I saw my girlfriend at the store and joyfully greeted her. She got really mad at me - it was her identical twin sister, who I still cannot tell apart from my girlfriend. We've been dating for three years. FML

Are they phoebe and Ursula identical or identical with feature differentiations? If the first pair is the answer then it is not your fault, though you still should know either way, and if the second one is answer she has a right to be angry with you.

You could explain that not being able to tell them apart is embarrassing for you and request that the twin who is not your GF greet you in unique way. An example would be to use your full name (Timothy instead of Tim). She knows who you are. If she used your full name when you first meet, you then know which one she is.

hey im an identical twin and really you should be able to tell them apart my boyfriend of a year can and we look exactly the same Tip ... notice small differences in the voice,style and looks hope i helped but YDI : D
