Today, I sent my friend a Snapchat without any makeup on. She asked what filter I used, because it made my face look all red and blotchy. FML

Don't worry, she probably didn't have bad intentions. Keep your head up, OP!

Just remember this; beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

That's it? Whenever I'm not wearing makeup people's eyes start to bleed...

I see a lot of comments saying to cut out all sorts of food. That really doesn't work. I have horrendous acne just because of severe stress. I have to wash my face twice a day with an acne wash. I follow that up by using tea tree oil on my face. If my skin is dry or I'm going to apply makeup, I use a plain noncomedogenic mosturizer like Cetaphil. I still have some blackheads, but no more huge breakouts!

I would recommend epidou. I used to have really horrible acne and it helped me clear up a lot. Also drinking a lot of water helps your skin

Well if somebody sees you all of the time with make up, then suddenly without, they are bound to see a difference. I don't think they meant anything by it.

I don't know why you thought you had perfect skin that would look flawless without make-up, that's not a thing! Congratulations you're a human being. Try not to get to bothered by this, you look totally normal. If you don't want people to comment then alternate wearing and not wearing make-up, then your bare face will look normal and make-up will make it look especially nice. You don't want make-up to be everyone's default impression of you, then this happens!

You have a polite friend. At least pretended not to understand. Next time don't embarrass everybody, wear that make-up, there is s reason why it was invented thousands of years ago. Cleopatra used hers, what would make you think you don't need yours.

It's called the "real world" filter. Sorry OP, that was kinda rude of her.
