It was horrific. The friend ended up running into a closet to hide, and not knowing where to go, I stood up against the wall in the dark holding a flashlight. Her mom thought it was a gun, and grabbed the lamp and well yeah. Finally, after ten minutes of the two boys and my friend trying to tell her to stop, she realized it was me, put the lamp down and said "Let's just pretend this never happened." Then we went to the kitchen and she made me assorted desserts. As if it would make the situation better.

A similar thing like this happened to me: My friend and i were house sitting for his parents a few towns over, and we had been at the house all day, and both of our phones had died, so we went to make a run back to our houses to get our phone chargers. When I had gotten mine and returned to the house, I called him because he had the key, and his phone was dead, which made sense, so I decided I would enter through the sliding glass door that had a lock that didn't work. Little did I know that his Mom had come home early because of an accident with his Dad, and when i walked through the back door, I noticed all the lights were on. Worried that someone was in the house, I walked upstairs to the master bedroom and slowly eased the door open, only making it about halfway when I hear a gun shot and a .32 rips through my shoulder. My best friend's mom shot me. FML
