Words can have different meanings. "Gay" means happy, homosexual, and stupid, depending on the context. People who use "gay" as stupid have just as much right as people using "gay" to mean homosexual; the original defenition was happy anyway. Also, words and defenitions are added to the English language based on how people use them in everyday speaking, and most people use "gay" for stupid (even Hilary Duff.)
