I had an ant infestation that got so bad I would wake up, pour some cereal, pour milk, and start to enjoy my breakfast when I noticed small red dots were floating in my milk. Do you really want it to get that bad? It's either kill them with poison or eat them alive. If the little boogers would have stayed outside, your problem would be solved.
That's kind of sad. I can totally see that as a movie from the ants perspective. But I think Hollywood had enough with ants after Bug's Life and Antz.
The ant looks at you and says et tu OP...we just moved in here to due to us keep dying let us live here....
Think about it like this, you weren't a villain in an epic tragedy, you were a God bestowing judgement on the foul beasts of the land that pillage it without hesitation.
Do you think hell is a place where you are reunited with the souls of everything you've killed? I'm actually worried about this, I had a fly/maggot problem in my house.
Just you you know, you've probably never seen a male ant. Their sole function is to breed with the queen (with a few species only being an exception to this rule). Everything else is done by the hardworking ant ladies. Also, they'll just take the corpse back to put in the exact same place with all the other dead ants (yes, like a cemetery) - and in most cases, with every other bit of junk they don't want in their nest. Hilariously enough, if you drop a certain chemical on a live ant, all the other ants become convinced it's dead and gently but firmly take it away to the dead ant repository, where it, obviously feeling a kinda rejected, tries to wander back to rejoin the main group. They just keep taking it back to the ant graveyard until the chemical wears off. C:
aajw that is cute!
Omg.. The comments and "logic" in this thread are killing me. I don't like ants in my house... I just sprinkle some cinnamon and when they bring it back to their queen and she sends them away because they don't like it. It doesn't hurt them tho.. Just keeps them out of my house

More then cradling it, it was more likely trying to carry it to eat it lol
