Today, I started dating a seemingly normal guy. Not even four hours into our relationship, he began telling me that he can see spirits, dead people, and that I have a large black dog following me everywhere I go. FML

The man is either Irish or Belgian (Or African). Black dogs spirits are synonymous with death there and are said to follow people who are about to die.

So I'm scrolling down and reading all these comments about how the big black dog is bad luck etc. it's like the black cat all over again! But to my opinion I think those sayings are by true. I don't believe in good luck or back luck, everything happens for a reason
