Today, it was Mother’s Day. My mom died when I was young, so I deleted all of my social media, to avoiding seeing all my friends hanging out with their aging, but healthy, loving mothers. Then my dad decided to remind me what day it was and to wish my abusive stepmom a happy Mother’s Day. FML

YDI for sending those stupid ass texts! You are one of those annoying people who talk to everyone on a holiday cause you send those stupid "happy (insert holiday here)" texts. That is the only thing I hate about holidays getting a shit ton of messages that all say the same thing. Other than that I'm sure your friend would not have felt too bad about it.

YDI people, shut up. He/she was trying to be helpful. Sure you may find that kind of text annoying, I do too, but that's not the issue. They tried to help out anyone who had forgotten, which on their part is a nice thing to do. FYL that it happened, but hopefully they'll understand :)
