That's beyond shyness. The guy completely disregarded OP's comment, and instead thought of food that OP can't even eat. I'm not saying she should dump him, but he should have taken OP's comment into consideration. Unless he was just making a joke, and OP overreacted, than FHL for dating a drama queen.
