9 months is short. However, if you both feel the same way than it's a perfectly reasonable time. However, if she hasn't shown any interest whatsoever in the matter you do come across as particularly creepy. Marriage is a stretch, but kids is just scary.

I think all the people saying that there's a certain length of time you're supposed to wait are being silly. Everyone is different and there's no relationship guide to tell you how long you should be together before you think you want to marry them.

At least one of the people in your relationship has the brains to know that 9 months is WAYYYY too early to discuss or even mention something like that. People like you are the reason 50% of US marriages end in divorce.
