Today, I told my girlfriend of two years that I love her. She replied, "Um, I don't mean to be rude, but can you just shut up?" FML

Whenever someone says "not to be rude but" prepare for them to say something really ******* rude.

Maybe she was thinking about how much she loves you. Note to OP, women do not like to be interrupted when they are thinking.

41- more than one manor? Girl must be loaded.

**** that bitch, kick her to the curve i would've open the door and say "How about you just leave?" and when she reach the door I also would've said "Not to be rude, but it's over" (:

all because she didn't say 'i love you' back? damn you fml people are harsh on the relationship fmls on the site! how do you know she wasn't joking?

Cuz I'm pretty sure she would've said " I'm just kidding babe I love you too" or something along those lines and we wouldn't be reading this. That's how we know.

let's be honest, judging by the amount of times people try to post fmls on here, it's quite rewarding if it does get moderated and put up. therefore op wasn't going to put 'cut it's okay cus she said she was kidding straight after'... wouldn't be the same.

Wow what a bitch. I've been told its hard for guys to say "I love you" (I'm not a guy so I wouldn't know). That's terrible that she would respond that way!

shouldn't really be hard after two years! but I know where you're coming from! if a guy said this to a girl (most would know he's joking, well, if he says 'I love you' often she would). boys tend to be quite sensitive when they say it, I wouldn't know but I'd hazard a guess that it's a 'man thing' and there's nothing wrong with that :)

Nah, it comes naturally. I tell my girlfriend every day, and I have for over almost two years now. But it really does hurt when it isn't reciprocated.

Punctuation! For the love of god use more of it!
