Today, I told my mom I'm severely allergic to my cat and that the doctor told me it would be best to get rid of the cat. Somewhat jokingly, I told her it was either me or the cat. She chose the cat. She was serious too. FML

if you're a minor and still going to school, that's sad but if you're like 30, living at home and paying no rent... clearly the cat should win it all depends...

How long has she had the cat? It doesn't sound like very long if you are this allergic. I can understand that somewhhat. Yet if the cat has been around for years, that gets a bit iffy. Then agaian, I'm strange and likes cats above people. I would likely try keeping said cat outdoors if it where possible however and clean the house real good if I whwre youir mom

#8 In reference to the calling child services... I know some family that the father wouldn't buy them iPhones... the fifteen year old daughter called child services and her and her sister thought they were so clever... They got taken away and hated it. Good thing you didn't call.
