It's what all students do. Seriously. Even if you're the best teacher in the world, you're part of the administration. And all students, myself included, have at least a slight us vs. them mentality. You leaving is a good thing to them, no matter how cool you are. I have one teacher whom I dislike having a sub for, out of seven. And he's one of few, ever.

couragewolf9001/#9: I agree. You might just be boring as a teacher... My geometry teacher is nice, but he's a terrible teacher... But he's nice. Although that may not be part of it. I like having a sub because it's a nice day off sort of. Unless the teacher gives the class a shitload of work to do while they're away...
