I moved out and was financially responsible at seventeen, still had senior year of high school and am going to be attending college. It can be done, no matter the recession. FYL though for having a rude mother, but YDI for not counting your blessings and whinning about something so simple. This is not fml worthy
Well you're 23 with your own place, so I assumed that you already were financially responsible for yourself...
I think that the OP was saying that he wanted something that was already in the house
At 23 I would say you should probably already be 100% financially responsible for yourself. Then again I'm not really a nice guy so...
Why not?? She was just trying to be nice to you
It was ur freaking birthday! Wtf. Why was she so harsh
Poor thing! 23 years old, living at home, doesn't have a job and expecting their parents to pay for everything! Seriously most people would at least help out with bills if they lived at home.
you're 23. if you need help they'd should support you a little, but they really shouldn't have to give you a penny at that age.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you're 23, you should be financially responsible for yourself. YDI.
Give it back to her when she needs a loan.
