Today, I used a public bathroom. I hung my purse up on the hook on the door. Two minutes later, a hand reaches over the door and steals my purse. I got robbed while taking a crap. FML

I hate public bathrooms, I hold all of my things and I never sit down unless I put toilet paper down on the seat. They are disgusting and they smell. That really sucks that you got robbed. FYL

Why is it that the majority of people assume that the thief was a male? I mean for goodness sake, she was in a ladies rest room. Not all criminals are men, us woman **** up too sometimes. As for the OP, that really sucks. I'm so sorry ): I hope that most (if not all) of your belongings were replaceable.

this is why you should hang on to your purse. this happens ALL the time. it's also why now you see more wall trays in the bathroom stall instead of coat/purse hooks on the door.

YDI. idiot... you dont use the hook. everyone knows that. AND... if you MUST... you use the bottom prong. thats what its supossed to PREVENT.
