Sorry, I vote YDI. This is the oldest thief trick in the book. Everyone in the universe knows NOT to use the door hook. Hell, most places don't even put a hook there anymore.

Most places now have a little platform next to the toilet, or an indentation in the wall behind it. MUCH better than the thief-hook.

That actually wasn't robbery, it's theft. For it to be robbery, she would have to have forced it out of your hands. Because it was just sitting there not within your control and they snatched it without any use of force against your person, it's just theft which is a much lighter sentence if they're ever caught. Not meaning to be a smartass; just want to share some interesting information. All-in-all, YDI. Never let your purse/wallet leave further than a few inches of your range of control.
