I feel weird and awful for you as I do for anyone that sees a parent naked or in an otherwise compromising position. But I can only imagine how sad/lost/confused your dad must be at loosing a woman who means so much too him. Few men ********** to the image of their living wives (even ones the love) part of the fantasy is that it could be ANYONE in the entire world you want it to be. The fact that four years later this person is still your mom is really endearing.

Hasn't it occurred to you that OP isn't heartless at all, but that he (?) actually posts it as an FML because it makes him feel sad too, and a bit helpless that he can't do anything about it? I find it a bit rash to assume that he only found it awkward for himself...
