Today, I walked into the kitchen to find my daughter trying to cut her wrist with a plastic spoon. When I asked her why, she said her friend Lucy did that so her parents would buy her pretty things. My daughter and Lucy are both four years old. FML

First I'm not saying that the spoon will be painful, but that at the age of four they should have has enough cuts and scraps from various accidents to know cutting would hurt. Second I don't care how old they are. Even when I was four I never thought to hurt myself just to get something.
