Have you ever heard of this great thing called a fence? it would have saved you a lot of time and money, and you wouldn't have to shoot at an innocent animal for trying to survive. YDI.
First off OP wasn’t shooting the rabbit because it was “eating”, he shooting at it because it was eating HIS GARDEN, ON HIS PROPERTY. The rabbit had it coming, it’s obviously been eating away at OP garden numerous times and it was the last straw. 2. You retards act as if the rabbit’s only food source is OP’s garden, do you think the rabbit going to starve to death if it doesn’t have OP’s garden in its stomach? WTF did the rabbit eat before OP’s garden then. How do you know OP wasn’t living off his “useless” garden, and is now not starving to death just like the rabbit. 3. STFU about “innocent animals”, OP shouldn’t kill it because it’s an innocent animal? You people are such hypocrites, how many so-called innocent animals do you kill everyday for your food, cloths, entertainment, shelter and just for sheer convenience. ALL animals are innocent you idiots, so why make a big deal over this one? O yah that’s right i forgot it’s because it’s a fuzzy wuzzy, cute and cuddly, furry wurry innocent little bunny, just like the ones you find at the pet store right. Just because it has no fangs and claws and shows no sign of danger in any way to us as humans, it must mean it has more of a right than other animals not to be shot at? Give me a ******* break ....... what OP did was far from animal abuse. 4. “OP just put up a fence”, brilliant idea everyone cause we all know wild animals are too stupid, and can’t simply dig, hop, climb, jump, leap, barrel or tunnel their way past a fence. How stupid of OP to forget that fences are animal proof. Maybe OP should go out and buy the fence we all ASSUME he doesn’t have already, or better yet he should just upgrade his fence to the rabbit blocker 4000 model, i heard that one really stops the cute innocent fuzzy bunnies from getting into your yard. 5. YDI for not tracking the rabbit down after you missed it and giving it a slow and painful death. Revenge is a dish best severed cold, with a side of slaughtered rabbit. FYL no one should have a flooded basement over a rabbit
I fully condone the killing of pests, but this is still a YDI since you shot in the direction of your pool. I bet all the people screaming "OMG ANIMAL MURDERER" kill things like cockroaches and spiders on a regular basis without an ounce of remorse. The only reason they have sympathy for the rabbit is because it's "cute."
Keywords
Not only did you try to kill it instead of just relocating it, but you tried to justify your shit aim with 'the bullet missed' instead of 'I missed'. This one calls for a YDI unfortunately.
Sounds like a Tom & Jerry episode.
