Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

Hope that TA never teaches kindergarten. Today, I was teaching a kindergarten class. One of the kids had a small piece of paper, so I assumed it was instructions to cause trouble during naptime, so I ripped his blanket off him, tore it up, and snatched the note. It read "I love you--Mom,"FML. It was just a note, Don't be so lazy next time

Was he a bad TA? Maybe. Maybe not. Was he a bad person? Definitely. He shouldn't just follow rules blindly. If everybody got busted every time for accidentally breaking stupid rules, barely anyone would make it through High School. The kids not gonna say,"Hey that TA didn't rip up my test even though my mom wrote me a note. You should probably fire him." How much at fault would he really have been if he told the kid to show him the note, told him to put it away and warned him to be careful with that kind of stuff

I hope he got an A and you got fired.

What an a hole...that kid could have been really nervous and the note his source of comfort. I seriously hope you gave him the opportunity to retake the test and you didn't rip the note up either. For shame.

@589, you have a point there, but maybe you should've read it more carefully. It says "during a history class".
