My girlfriend and I did the same thing at a Halloween party, except she was Batgirl. Man, what I would give to see her in that costume again ... Anyway, maybe you should've been Batgirl instead of Robin, although there was a female Robin at one point. Besides it could have been worse. You could have been Two-Face.

Maybe she didn't like the girl Robin...she was really too young for Batman (by our standards, though not necessarily back in the days, or in other countries), and she looked kind of boyish. Or maybe OP doesn't know that there WAS a FEMALE Robin.
