Today, I was asking my one year old nephew what noises certain animals make. I decided to trick him and ask him what sound I make. He immediately says, "MOOOO". FML

Seriously? He is ONE year old. He does not have the cognitive ability to wittily associate humans with cows. He said "Moo" because he likes to say moo. You're an idiot for posting this.

You have a point there,, and moo is probably the easiest of all the sounds to say for kids that age as opposed to "oink", "quack" or "neigh"

Exactly. One-year-olds are very smart, but you're giving your nephew way too much credit.

so apparently you sound like a cow?

That's what you get for tricking a kid.

Umm... he's ONE. If he were 13 and moo'd at you, this would be an FML, but this kid is ONE. He can probably barely talk, so how exactly is he supposed to mimic the sounds a human would make? Moo is just an easy sound to make when you're that age. Get over yourself.

I agree with everyone who says that he was just making a sound that he could easily make I used to do that when i was younger and people would ask me questions like that. At the same time though i think if it was an fml ydi because you basically set yourself up for that one.

Why did you ask what kind of noise you make? What kind of noise DO you make? And y'know, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you asked "What kind of noise does (your name) make?" If your name is like, Cara or something, maybe he interpreted it as 'cow'. Just a possibility. Or like someone else said, he just made the first noise he thought of. He's one.
