Today, while working at a pizza shop near a college campus, I got an order to deliver to the dorms. Extremely busy at work and annoyed that someone wouldn't take 3 minutes to walk over, I spat on the pizza. When I arrived to the dorm, a woman in a wheelchair opened the door. FML

Today, as a pizza delivery driver, I delivered to a customer with young kids. She gave the pizzas to one of her kids to take inside, where the kid dropped them and it went everywhere. She then rang the store and claimed that I'd dropped the pizzas, then told her to "suck it up." FML

Today, I got a call from my kid’s school, saying my daughter had a minor accident on the playground. When they asked her who to call, she'd said, "My mom’s probably in a meeting. Call the pizza place, they always pick up." FML

Today, whilst on a phone interview with a college I really want to go to, my mother picks up the other line and shouts into the phone "She's not going to college, she's lazy and she'll only disappoint you." The interviewer hung up before I could say anything. FML

Today, my mom called 5 times and I didn't pick up due to being in class at college. I was later called to the front desk, where my mom was crying. She said she was worried about me because I didn't say "I love you" to her after she dropped me off at college. FML

Today, I was delivering pizzas for my summer job. I got a big order to deliver for a fellow graduate's party. While I was being paid for the order my friend shows up and says "Don't pay him, his parents are rich, he can handle it." Then they shut the door and took off. The bill was $75. FML

Today, after being accepted into the college of my dreams, I found out that my mom has spent all my college savings on alcohol over the years, and she says that it's my fault for not "helping her get help." FML

That was very presumptuous of her. I know a few people who actually paid for college by delivering pizzas...what's to say that OP isn't doing that as well? Even if she's not, it was still impolite of the woman to say that while OP was in earshot.

As I tell my kids: Do what makes you happy. If working at McDonalds makes you happy, then do it. BUT, go to college so that you have options just in case. Then again some degrees are a waste of time and money so it's not always the best idea.

Why the **** does she think it's okay to say shit like that? A job is a job. It's sad that she thinks it's okay to be disrespectful to someone to make an "example" for her kid. She's doing more damage than anything. I'm so sick of those kind of people.

THe mom's a bitch. I went to college. I work at Kohls making 7.95/hr cause economy sucks so bad, no one wants to hire new college grads.
