Today, I was at a house delivering pizza. As I walked away, I heard the mom mutter to her child, "That's why you go to college." FML

That was very presumptuous of her. I know a few people who actually paid for college by delivering pizzas...what's to say that OP isn't doing that as well? Even if she's not, it was still impolite of the woman to say that while OP was in earshot.

Wow that wasnt right at all of the mother to say that. KARMA, what goes around comes around. She should watch what she says because her child could possibly grow up and be a pizza delivery boy. Which theres nothing wrong with it at all. Whether or not OP a job is still a job and it gets you by for the week im sure plus tips. For all we know, OP could be a College Student already. Either way dont let shit get to you OP cause I know where your coming from. I worked as a Legal Assistant and had so many negativer remarks such as where is this going to lead you in life or you cant do it. Finally I broke down and told my Litigant "its people like you that make this world a shitty place. Remember your at the bottom and im at the top. How so? I studyied the Law so I know what im doing when I run a case, but instead I choose to sit here and help low class assholes like you that cant find the time to read through legal documents and do it on your own. Whos kissing ass now? Oh I forgot YOU ARE and I have every right to turn away any case as I please". That would shut them up instantly, ya gotta show them whos the boss OP. GL and remember you dont have to put up with anyones shit

Come on. I mean, OP could just be working part time to meet his wants. Personally, i feel that the mother was stereotyping. True, you might hold an better job if have college education. but its people like OP who makes our life easy.

The OP's annoyance at the woman's comment is only acceptable if he is in his teens or very early twenties, other than that OP, I'm sorry but the customer has a point-that's what college is for.

I made great money delivering pizzas and eventually owned my own pizza joint. There is nothing wrong with your job, she was probably talking about your inability to form words with more than one syllable.
