Today, I was at work, photographing a baby boy. I grabbed a bench for him to use to hold himself upright. His mom asked if she should hold him instead, but I told her he'd be fine. Two seconds later, he fell backwards and brought the bench down on top of him. There goes my job. FML

You obviously don't know anything about kids, and gravity.

Well if he was a fairly new baby you shouldnt have expected him to be able to hold his own weight up

All of u stop being such asses. That's the problem with kids these days they arent allowed to fall down. Granted, I'm only 30 and have no kids cuz they annoy me. But you are all turning the future generation into a bunch of *******. Let them play in the mud, fall over, get cuts and scrapes. We all did it growing up so what's the harm in them doing it

Yes, let a kid play in the mud, and get cuts and scrapes, and bruises. But a BABY? It may be a good thing you don't have kids. I doubt they would live the first year.

Ydi for not listening to mom. Then again fyl since the mom was to chicken shit to stand up and say no I need to be able to catch him/her if they fall

You should've listened to the parents.

I probably would have held my baby regardless of what you said..

Could we really trust that bench

This isn't a wow that is a unfortunate situation. This could have killed the baby

Did you get a good pic? Show that shit!

Seriously... If a mom thinks her kid needs some support you let her support him. She knows what her kid can handle better than your happy ass. I would have slapped you.

At least now his parents won't be the ones he blames for dropping him on his head when he was young.

Ydi, pretty sure his mom has a better idea of how well he can stand himself up than you do. After all, she does raise him. Never tell a mom that their kid will be fine if you don't know both the child and the mother on a personal level, or you're the child's doctor.
