Today, I was chatting online with a guy I really like, when he used the word "irregardless." I couldn't help but mention how little sense it makes, since it's a combination of two words meaning roughly the same thing. He replied, "lol what? your stupid." Jesus Christ. FML

*Clears Throat* People, OP never said that irregardless wasn't a word, just that it was a strange one. She made a poke at the word, not the person using it at he time. The fact that the other person chose to respond like that is what makes this an FML...

Yeah I agree. When people just insist on correcting grammar for no good reason like that they're just being smart asses and pissing everyone else off. This wasn't preparing for a dam public speech in front of a hundred people, this was just a dam online chat. Someone who's going to make such a big deal out of that has a massive tree up their ass and that guy definitely isn't going to like her back.
