Fix it yourself. It's much cheaper that way.
Did you guys miss the OP replying that he DID remove it correctly? It's just like those "permanent adhesive tabs" that only last a few weeks. Total scam.
Yeah, that definitely happened to me the day I was moving out of my college apartment. Followed the directions exactly as they were written. It sucks... They just aren't meant for some walls I guess. You definitely don't deserve that one, that's for sure!
Woops.
Of course I am going to fix it, I'm just pissed that it happened. And it was not because I ripped it off... I was doing it the right way and being very careful.
I guess you did it wrong. I just took one of those off my door I've had on there forever and it didn't leave anything-not even a hint something was even there.
I feel your pain! When I was 10 I accidently did that, in panic, I covered it with a poster. Just now I remembered it due to this post :| That was 4 years ago, and we're going to be moving out soon.

That happened to me! I hadn't paid a deposit, but I would have had to pay if the apartment was damaged. I glued back in as much of the chunk as I could, and I never heard anything about it....and even received paperwork saying I didn't owe anything. So they either didn't notice or didn't care! lol
Sounds like something that would happen to me... that blows... Sorry!
