I, am always getting confused for being either sex. Trust me, it's nothing to worry about.
well then the true question comes into play, are you a women? 0_0
So did she think you were a man or a woman?
Hi
OP shouldn't mind much, imo. A lot of people will only recognize a woman as a woman at first sight if they have long hair, big boobs and/or are wearing something unmistakably feminine. I'm a somewhat tall, flat girl with short hair, so unless I wear very feminine clothing, I get mistaken for a guy on a regular basis until they hear my voice (being part Asian and looking like it helps too, I guess) Not a problem to me, but if it is to you, maybe try wearing clothes that are generally considered more feminine?
Even the boobs sometimes don't make it obvious. XD I was wearing a very fitted blouse on the plane, but my hair is usually cut super short, and I got an "Excuse me, sir" before I turned around and she realized I was female. It didn't bother me at all, but I thought it was pretty funny that if you can't tell, why not just go with, "Excuse me?" and drop the sir/ma'am.
OP, next time just say that it's because of the hormone treatments. :D
Why would she explain that? Wow, how inconsiderate:(
You should have kicked her in the ****. It's none of their ******* business on what gender you identify as.
Getting angry because someone asks about your gender identity? Gender identity isn't something to be ashamed of! There's nothing wrong with asking someone that sort of question! Its not rude or anything. Some people are social and like talking to people, and if you're not one of those people, you can just ignore them or tell them to leave you alone. No need to be rude when someone asks a simple question. It shouldn't bother you, and if it does, that doesn't mean you can be rude to them.

You should have confused them and began talking in a different pitch
She didnt have to explain it, though. Ignorance is bliss sometimes :/
