Today, I was doing laundry at college. There was a pile of clothes sitting on top of a dryer, but the dryer was empty so I used it. I came back to a note saying, "Don't touch my laundry, asshole" and a dryer filled with urine soaked laundry. FML

easrc tells us more.

I don't think you understand-the dryer was EMPTY with someone else's clean, dry laundry on top when I got there. I put my stuff in the the dryer and the idiot thought that I took his clothes out when in fact, it took him so long to get his stuff that SOMEONE ELSE took his clothes out, dried their own, AND took their own laundry out again. To all the people who agree that this is a real FML-Unfortunately the room doesn't have security cameras, but I narrowed it down to 3 possible people based on who I remember being in the hall at the time and the fact that it was mens clothing. The RA and the administration are currently investigating it-hopefully they make the culprit confess!

No, that guy was an asshole. Even if you had touched it, Taking someone's stuff out of the dryer after the time is up and leaving it on top is standard practice, and he had no right to be ab asshole about it. If you leave your clothes over time, and you find them on top of the dryer, then thats life, and deal with it. At my school we do that for each other all the time. No one gets upset over it.

thats the nastiest thing eva-sorry dude...

ydi because i have a pet peeve for people touching my laundry.

read the FML. he didn't say he removed the clothes from the dryer -- he said that the clothes were already on top of the dryer and the dryer was empty, so he used it. besides, even if he did remove the laundry, i think peeing on a load of (presumably) clean laundry is a little bit excessive, and slightly mean considering the amount of money it costs to do a load of laundry. at my uni in the states, sure, it was only $2/load (including wash and dry), but those laundry machines are tiny so a normal sized load (at least by my estimation) is already two loads at uni. not to mention it's $6 for a wash and dry here (i'm abroad in australia currently -- $4/wash, which i guess is more or less fair since we are in a drought here, $2/dry), so that's a significant amount of money, especially because it's annoying to have to go get quarters for laundry (in the states), and because we're poor uni students.

Besides, the OP wouldn't deserve it b/c of a problem you have; that makes no sense.

You buy the time, not the dryer. Once your time's up, the dryer is no longer yours. Get your shit out of it if you don't want other people touching it. Last time I had to share a laundry room with pigs who thought they owned it, I left powdered dye in the washer for them. You should have heard the screams.

I'd watch your clothes dry from now on. That's just horrible for that to happen.

find out who the ****** was and shit on his clothes.

i bet they are a bed wetter. you will see their laundry again. Have a coke ready to accidently spill onto their clothes next time. p.s. i like girls who give me golden showers but only in the shower. its so hot, no pun intended. like lioness marking her man.

Uh... just like your brother (who seriously needs a beat-down) they can't leave their clothes in their all day or for however long taking up a machine when other people need to use it. I hated having my laundry moved by random people (or looking like a creeper moving random girl's stuff), but if I wasn't back in the laundry room by the appropriate time I understood it was likely to happen.

Next time put his laundry in the shredder... >:) Of course use a stick!

haha! good ideas, good ideas. god I never wanna piss any of you off... and actually, if you climb on top of the dryer, if it was a top loading one, it wouldn't be that hard to pee in it, for a girl or guy...

The guy who did that is an asshole. If his stuff was on top of an empty dryer, then he left them in the dryer long enough for someone else to take it out and finish drying a load of clothes. The unwritten rule is if you leave it in the dryer too long then you can't bitch if others take it out to use it. That happened to me a couple times while I was in college because I had forgotten about it. You need to report this to an RA or RD or someone. That's absolute crap and shouldn't have happened. Yeah the person who did that will never be found, but at least others in the building will know someone would actually do something like this and never leave their laundry unattended ever again.

People are dumbasses. They overreact too easily. That is honestly really disgusting...
