spilled*? ... but that sucks
'Spilt' is often used instead of 'spilled' in the UK, where OP is from. Just like how 'learnt' can be used instead of 'learned'.
Every job has a learning curve, just laugh it off and try again :)
I've done hat as well, serving really sucks when you first start. It's difficult to get the swing of things. It took me about a year to fully feel confident on the floor, been serving for about 5 years now. Good luck op, it gets better!
Maybe am your coworkers for a few tips on making it easier.
I did one day as a waitress. I check delivering drinks to the wrong table & getting change wrong using up all my trips in the process
It's not an easy job, OP. You'll make a few mistakes but you've gotta have confidence in yourself, and if you enjoy it, then you know you'll get better with time and experience! :)
First days are rough I've had my job as a waiter for a bit over a year and I was a mess when I started

You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelette.
Probably one of the harder customer service jobs to do. just keep at it OP, we all have to start somewhere. Just fight through it.
