Well it does suck, but maybe u also deserve it for driving too close to her car. You should have driven a distance that would give u the chance to apply the brakes and stop before rear ending her.
When someone is rear ended the person whom hits the other (so the back person) is always at fault. Unless the front driver backs into them.
it is ALWAYS your fault if your car hits a car in front. the car in front has no control over how close you follow and cars are sometimes required to brake suddenly. in order to have your licence you needed to know that, there is no question that this a YDI. don't tailgate.

Thats the technical definition of tailgating. If you're so close to the other car that in a situation in which the car in front of you suddenly breaks, and you rear end the car in front of you, that would be tailgating. Really, what do you think tailgating is if its not exactly the situation you're in now?
I cant stand people who slam on their brakes whenever they see a cop. Especially when the dudes on the other side of the highway
