Today, I was enjoying the benefits of marriage with my new husband. We were changing positions when my joints started crackling and popping like my mother's did when I was a kid. My husband stopped, concerned about my possible pain... I'm 20 years old and pop like an arthritic 50 year old. FML

Wait, how do you know your mother's joints cracked when she was having sex?

She only mentioned the "benefits of marriage" in her post because she was too proper and embarassed to say "my husband was riding me like a drunk redneck on a mechanical bull".

I feel your pain. I'm almost 18 and I crack my joints like mad it's concerning.

"enjoying the benefits of marriage"? Is that how Republics say they have sex? Sex, ******, penis...they're not dirty words. I think it's entirely appropriate to say "GROW THE **** UP!" at this juncture. YDI.

I'm 19. I've has fibro and joint pain since I was little. it got worse at 17. see a doctor. you could just need calcium and vitamins. or it could be something serious.

its okay. ive been cracking like that my whole life. my boyfriend just laughs at it now. it doesnt hurt, i think its funny when people get grossed out by it

I miss the days when my only physical problem was my joints cracking. The joint/muscle pain that came later can go any time now. I'm 20 as well.

That's because you waited to have sex until you were married. Dummy.

My joints pop, i like to gross my friends out with it. My hips and ankle can crack. :) It turns my boyfriend on. HAHAHA

And because of your cracking joints you had to write about your sex life? Uh... FYL?

This really isn't an FML, really. When I'm having sex sometimes my joints pop - it is annoying though and makes me laugh and that's not very hott :( Don't worry about the people saying YDI for being married at twenty - they're probably upset that you found someone you love and don't realize that if you -know- you love someone, then why not get married? I mean what the ****. I mean, if you are someone that does know. I'm 22 and have been engaged since 21, and will be married this year. Does being 22 mean I'm too young to know what I want and, oh my god, am mature enough to know what I want!? Plus, if you were 'having fun' and sleeping around then they'd be calling you a *****.

Thanks for sharing your life story. Please tell us more as your life progresses. It's truly fascinating.

drkwlf, I agree. I'm 19 and getting married in 4 months. I'll be 20, him 21. we've dated since we were kids and have been through absolutely everything together, and we've lived together for the past year. when people criticize us, I just bite my tongue and know that they don't know what it feels like to be in a love so deep... and if they don't change their attitude, they probably never will. and just because your underage doesn't quite stop you from drinking at your wedding.
