Today, I was enjoying the benefits of marriage with my new husband. We were changing positions when my joints started crackling and popping like my mother's did when I was a kid. My husband stopped, concerned about my possible pain... I'm 20 years old and pop like an arthritic 50 year old. FML

Wait, how do you know your mother's joints cracked when she was having sex?

She only mentioned the "benefits of marriage" in her post because she was too proper and embarassed to say "my husband was riding me like a drunk redneck on a mechanical bull".

I'm just wondering why you know what it sounds like when your mom is having sex.

"Enjoying the benfits of marriage"? You were shopping with your husband's credit cards?

YDI for getting married at 20. you have no way of supporting yourself or a family. It will end in a horrible divorce.

My parents were married at 19, and my mom had a 3 year old son. They had me at 21 and they're still together.

you're really mad about this? lamest thing ever to be mad about fyl cuz you think it matters

a lot of people have cracky joints. i'm only 14 and whenever i crouch down my knees crack.

Take some calcium and quit bitching. Also, married at 20? ...eeuuugh.

To #8, #9, #42, #45, #51, #66, #105, #110... Who gives a damn if she's married at 20? I was married at 20 after dating my fiance/boyfriend for 3 years. Since when does getting married young mean "you have no way of supporting yourself or a family" (#105)? My husband and I both have bachelors degrees, he has a fulltime job (I don't currently have one due to extenuating circumstances - nothing to do with my age or being married!). And also, the stats say that while TEEN marriages are likely to end in divorce, marriages that start in their 20s have a better success rate than those that get married older. Besides, I know people who got married at 19 and are still married 30 years later. And why does it mean you stop having fun (#66)? It just means you have someone to travel the world with, instead of doing it on your own. You're the sort of people who harp on about "people should be allowed to make their own life choices, it doesn't matter if they don't want to get married, it doesn't matter if they want to have a career first, it doesn't matter if they want to do xyz, let them live their own life"... well how about you take your own advice and allow people who want to get married young to make their own life choices without being condemned by people like you?? I don't sit there abusing people who decide not to get married til they're 40, so how about you give people who decide to marry young the same courtesy.

my joints crack alot & that never stopped me!!
