For all you claiming she 'deserved it' by saying something bad about herself, how about the fact she might believe it? I understand the annoyance of someone constantly asking for attention but if it's only once and a while, is a compliment really that hard to give? There are a lot of people, especially teenagers, that have self image issues and saying something like this could actually really damage them. I am just starting to get comfortable with how I look because I actually have good friends and family that do not make bad comments like this and tried to assure me that I look fine.
