Today, I was feeling proud of myself because I finally quit World Of Warcraft. I later found out about the gift my dad's family gave me. It was a 12-month subscription to World Of Warcraft. FML

I just quit after 3 years of playing 2 months ago. I do miss it a lot but my life is so much better without it.

As long as your not addicted, I think you should be okay to use the subscription and quit afterwards. Not everyone gets lost to WoW - those are just the specific stories you hear. It doesn't make everyone who play it addicted. I play and could easily quit if I wanted to. Heck, sometimes I don't play it for months straight just because I wasn't in the mood.
