Today, I was fired from my dream job for being pregnant. Apparently, you can't teach children while growing one inside you. FML

They fired me in a clever way by telling me they didn't have anything for me to teach and that me going on maternity leave was too hard on the students I had so someone else was doing my classes. So I was not officially fired so much as pushed out and replaced

check your teachers contract. if there's no rider in there about unmarried (of you're not married of course) pregnancy sue their butts off.

That's stupid cause my 4th grade teacher was preggers. She had the baby like 2months before school was supposed to let out.

This is super strange?? A LOT of my teachers through Elementary to High School got pregnant, and taught up until their leave, and then came back. This isn't right.
