Years ago on a 4 hour flight from NZ to Australia I was seated next to a morbidly obese woman. It meant that I could only use half the seat I paid for due to this woman pouring over the armrest and into my seat. I spent most of the flight pacing the aisle to relieve my back which was twisted painfully. I complained to the airline and was upgraded for my return flight. I no longer feel any sympathy for morbidly obese people who have to buy extra seats. We're all responsible for our own weight. Flying is uncomfortable enough. And no, I don't compare this discomfort to having someone who talks too much sitting beside me.
Not to mention the fact that it's just not very safe. If, God forbid, there was a crash, do you really think a morbidly obese person is going to be able to react quickly enough to let others pass?
fatass!!!
Oh, **** off. Once you hit a certain weight, it's not easy to work out. Not that you should let yourself get that way, but things like depression, illness, genetics and whatnot can factor in enough to make it so that a person cannot work out. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for trying to maintain a healthy weight, but I'm realistic about it. Not every body can do so, and to so ignorantly tell somebody they should work out just because you do is rude and unrealistic. As long as you only eat when you're hungry and try to limit the fast/junk food, you should be okay. I don't have room in my apartment to work out, can't afford a gym membership, and right now it's too hot to even go for a walk where I live because I'm sensitive to heat and will vomit if I get too hot, so yeah, there are reasons people can't work out.
hey, if you're going to take up 2 seats why shouldn't you pay for 2? If everyone took up two seats and only paid for 1, how would the airlines make any money at all?
Fatty, lose some weight
ydi fatass. sorry but I have no pity for overweight people. I was overweight once. you know what I did? I got in f-ing shape.
172- If you really are in a situation like that you can always do workouts in your living room at home. Somedays I have a lot of stuff going on but I always find time to work out at least 20 minutes a day. Sometimes it's doing jump rope in the garage, or it can be doing push-ups or other plyometric work outs in my living room. My point is that there is always something you can do. This is my third time trying to post this comment. *crosses fingers*

well you gotta feel sorry for the person who might have been sat next to you if you hadn't bought the ticket. They would only get 3/4 of a seat for their butt otherwise :P
some weight: lose it.
