Today, I was forced to spend an extra $318 for another plane ticket to Dallas. The ticket wasn't for my daughter, my mom, or my sister, but for the quarter of my butt that apparently needs its own seat. FML

well you gotta feel sorry for the person who might have been sat next to you if you hadn't bought the ticket. They would only get 3/4 of a seat for their butt otherwise :P

OK, being overweight is one thing. Plenty of people are overweight and some people will always be overweight and not be able to do anything about it. But if you're so fat that you need an extra seat, I'm sorry but there's just no excuse.

@dragonranger ... You have a Power Ranger as your pic, What the heck did you expect?

The thing is.. I don't think this FML was ever posted as a stab at the airline company.. I just think he was FMLing at the realisation he is now that big.. whether he deserved it or not, it's still a shock to the system and it still hurts when you finally realise just how big you are. So all these people going on large rants about why he deserves to pay for the extra seat, I think he knows why, and it wasn't the point of the FML

it could also be that the extra seat he paid for wasn't even next to the original! that is definitely an fml!

Ouch. Thats messed up. Tell them to go lay in !! Aka; sh!t...(:

oh I didn't notice he wasn't a power ranger, what with him wearing the power ranger's uniform and all.

If it's not a power ranger then what the hell is it?

185: I said I have NO room at home. I wasn't kidding. I live in a studio apartment above a restaurant, so no jumping, or I'd play DDR. Best work out ever. I wasn't making excuses. I work out when I can, even if it's a little unconventional. Whichever one of you said I should go buy weights, I can't afford anything. If I'm lucky, I get to go out to a movie once a month. Food is a bigger priority for me and my boyfriend than a couple dumbbells. We're usually lucky to have enough money to buy anything to eat between when we pay our rent and when I get paid again. That usually keeps me from gaining weight, not that my weight was ever an issue. I was using the fact that I have a difficult time working out as an example for why some people don't.
