Today, I was having dinner with my boyfriend. We'd just got our food when my dad walks in, comes up to our table and says, "I didn't say you could leave, you're too young to be dating him", then drags me out of the restaurant. We are both 15, and it was my first date. FML

I don't know why, but it really aggravates me how people here seem to believe you have to have actual dates before being in a relationship... Because you know, you definitely can't be in a relationship with someone you've known for awhile, right? Right...

Eh, you Americans can be so puritanical sometimes. I didn't date until I was 16 and I was considered a worryingly late bloomer. Cultural thing, I guess, but I don't see the big deal.

sorry girlly, but I'd have to agree with daddy here. 15 is too young. I wish I had known at 15 what I know now. things would be much different. I hope you're safe and listen to your parents. I wish I had.
