Reminds me of a time when I accidently called an Ellen Erin.. I continued to speak in a stereotypical japanese accent for the rest of the day off and on to cover *that* one up.. "herro errin".

to #11 Japanese people have a hard time pronouncing the "r" so they can only say "l" instead. Not the other way round. Stop being so narrow minded.

No he's right. There is no sound in Japanese for L so it's often replaced with r.

plus he did say it was a stereotypical Japanese accent just to cover up the fact that he messed up the girls name, so 22 quit being so narrowminded as to think that everything that anybody says is racist. if i were a betting man id say u were black. or just stupid. lawl

#22 I'm not saying it's a bad thing that Japanese have difficulty in pronouncing it.. it's kinda just going off the the Kim Jong Il character in Team America or the 'City Wok' owner in South Park. Racist? Yeah.. Funny? Yeah..

@22 - I do agree with you that narrow-mindedness is pretty crap, but there is definitely a Japanese girl in one of my classes who says "What the herr?" on a regular basis.
