No. She has known him for years, that's a fact. But it doesn't mean they have known each other for years. I've seen plenty of girls who "love" guys they have never talked to before, and the other way around.

OP, you shot yourself. First, I doubt you were seriously "in love". I hate how that term is being cheapened. Unless he has quite severe memory issues, it sounds like you don't know each other all that well. Assuming you aren't attracted to brainless jerks, someone you've talked to and spent time with for years will generally remember your name. This sounds like a crush. Second, if all you wanted was to have sex just once with your crush, you've nothing to complain about. If you wanted more, you probably should've waited until after the introductions to jump in bed. I have nothing against casual sex but it obviously wasn't casual for you; you allowed yourself to be used.
