Today, I was helping some mental health patients at work, I spent 20 mins to fail to connect the DVD player to the TV and went back to make them something to eat. I came back into the room after 5 mins and one of the patients had connected it for himself. He has a profound learning disability. FML

Continuation of #17..............#12 and #15 beat me to it!! OMG!! I'm #22, my life is so complete now!! I just wanna thank my parents, my friends, and everyone who made this happen....oh and **** you #2!!

Well aren't you an uncool little prick? You'd be surprised at just how intelligent people with learning disabilities can be. A lot of them try harder and end up learning more than you could ever fathom. And come on, the friggin' jacks are color-coded, and if they're not for that particular model, it really doesn't even take that long if all you do is try each slot to see if it works through process of elimination.

maybe he was a savant, you never know

Wow that is kinda sad.. FYL. But maybe someone else showed him how to..?

The patient may have a profound learning disability, but at least now you know he is not colour blind.

Learning disabilities do not mean they're stupid. They could be very good at things like that. They're not necessarily stupid, they just have trouble learning, could be an attention problem or something. So it's not that bad. Your life IS ****** because you're stupid, but not because the patient is smarter than you.

At least you're not the AV crew or something.
