Today, I was helping some mental health patients at work, I spent 20 mins to fail to connect the DVD player to the TV and went back to make them something to eat. I came back into the room after 5 mins and one of the patients had connected it for himself. He has a profound learning disability. FML

OP- You make it seem like people with learning disabilities are incapable of doing anything other than staring at a bloody wall...

Just cause he has a learning disability doesn't mean he can't/doesn't learn or know things. I'm sure he's quite brilliant at some things, even if they aren't common or what you and I usually think of.

actually, my brother is autistic and he can figure out electronic devices better than anyone i know. just because he can't communicate like we can doesn't mean he's stupid. YDI for making assumptions about the mentally challenged

Utter fail for, as everybody already said, assuming that because somebody has a learning disability, they are inherently stupid.

#4: Ha, funny. OP- Are you a color blind, retarded five year old? Wait, sorry color blind, retarded five year olds. You are a cretin. Don't know what it means, look it up. I'm pretty sure my 3 year old cousin could do it through the process of elimination. Sorry for being so harsh.
