Today, I was hosting my daughter's thirteenth birthday party. One parent decided to stay at my house, the only parent to do so. The entire night she critiqued every decision I made, from the films to the cake. When it was time to open presents, her kid was the only one without one. FML

I admit I'm not the most polite person, but sometimes you just need to tell someone to shut up and leave.

Guess who isn't being invited back.

Who has a birthday party when they are 13?

Was this your house, OP? You could have just told her to leave.

Same thing happened at my brother's 10th birthday. Only the parent had given their kid a bath upstairs without us knowing...

Wow, that sucks, OP. I am just curious, but what movie did they watch? I mean it wasn't a horror film, right? Some people are just crazy. I'm glad that woman isn't your sister-in-law or co-worker, so hopefully you won't have to see her very often.

I know how that feels last year at my birthday party only half the kids brought presents, tomorrow I'm having another birthday party and I think half the girls already forgot about presents,I don't mind but not even a card really? On someone's birthday?

Parents don't normally stay past the age of ten .. That's just ridiculous.
