I actually remember learning about an extremely rare situation in which boy/girl twins can be identical in Bio...it's not impossible!
Well, everyone says something stupid sometimes. He will get over it.
Identical (monozygotic) twins are always same gender because they form from a single zygote that contains either male (XY) or female (XX) sex chromosomes. However, there have been a few reported cases of a genetic mutation in male twins where one twin loses an Y chromosome and develops as a female. The female twin would be afflicted with Turner Syndrome, characterized by short stature and lack of ovarian development. This situation is extremely rare.
Actually, fraternal and identical are technical terms (it has to do with the separation of the eggs)
There are identical and fraternal twins out there
Oh dear, I'm so embarrassed for you.
I don't get this. They could be feternal twins. How was that stupid.
fraternal =/= identical...

Awkward.. but if the 'intelligent and handome' guy doesn't have a good enough sense of humour to not hold it against you, then you're probably better off without him :-)
I would probably do that too, honestly. He probably thought it was cute! If not...AVADA KEDAVRA!
